Cinando, the film industry’s premier data base/B2B VOD site, has just teamed up with Digital Film Cloud Network, in a deal that will see TV/film content creators having the ability to streamline business processes.
This new move from Cinando, the film industry’s premier data base/B2B VOD site, comes as content owners are increasingly looking for new revenue growth in terms of volume sales by focusing their attention on other different platforms such as Netflix, iTunes, National VOD sites, Amazon, certain territories such as the U.S. Latino.
The new venture makes it possible for users of Cinando, who are over 60,000, to instantly access the DFCN platform. They will now be able to, by a simple click of the button, migrate their TV/films/Shows from Cinando to DFCN’s platform so as to make sale rights to their work available via the DFCN platform. In addition that the new deal hopes it will help in streamlining the process which is usually involved in distribution, licensing and financing.
“With over 8,000 films entering the global distribution market this year, and 200,000-plus sales agents, distributors and exhibitors scattered across the world, each with their own business objectives, rights holdings, sales plans, and revenue targets, the approach of buying and selling movie rights licenses at physical marketplaces has become a costly and highly inefficient proposition,” said the CEO of Digital Film Cloud Network, Ray Bell.
“Our rapid customer growth and industry-wide endorsement is a testament to the demand for an online marketplace that directly addresses these growing issues.”
Jerome Paillard, the executive director of Cinando and Mache du Film, said that, “We are excited to be able to offer our Cinando users the ability to easily post their films in the DFCN Film Rights Marketplace for financing and licensing.”
